Nalapat Balamani Amma (19 July 1909 – 29 September 2004) was an Indian poet basically who writes in Malayalam.


Google doodle honours Indian poet Balamani Amma's on  113th birth anniversary. She was born on 19th july 1909 
 in Nalapat, her ancestral home in Punnayurkulam located in the Thrissur district. She is also known as malayalam poet who always write poems in malayalam belong to India. Amma is not educated but reading books make him poet when ever she finds book she reads and understand the meaning of every line in their own meaning. After having a number of collection of books she became a poet, In the field of poet she got many awards which shows him that she is very good poet in India.
